Bangor Business School Event: ‘Building Bridges in Entrepreneurship'
Bangor Business School hosted an insightful event this week that brought together budding student entrepreneurs, startups and industry professionals seeking inspiration and innovative discussions.
The event, supported by the Enterprise Fund, not only served as a platform for networking but also facilitated meaningful connections between students, industry experts and established business leaders. Speaker sessions provided a bridge between theory and real-world application, offering attendees a glimpse into the challenges and triumphs of entrepreneurship.
Event highlights included four distinguished speakers, each bringing a unique perspective and invaluable insights into the world of entrepreneurship:
Stephen Davies, CEO The Welsh Whisky Company Limited and the driving force behind Penderyn Distillery, explored the pivotal role of creativity and innovation in shaping Penderyn’s remarkable success.
Rhian Parry, MD Workplace-Worksafe, offered delved into her entrepreneurial journey, providing priceless lessons, strategies to tackle obstacles, and pragmatic advice on establishing a sustainable, prosperous enterprise.
Jeremy Smith, Co-Founder and CEO of Neural River and Neural Voice and Bangor Business School alumni, focused on the importance of networking and its impact on his own entrepreneurial journey from graduation to guiding his own businesses toward an AI-driven future and ground-breaking innovation.
Its final speaker, Frankie Hobro, Owner of Anglesey Sea Zoo, highlighted how her commitment to sustainability has established her as a trailblazer, not just in environmental change and conservation advocacy, but also in the world of business.
