Bangor Business School successful in PTES survey 2023
The recent Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) 2023 saw Bangor Business School achieve excellent results. The school has a strong reputation for postgraduate education with hundreds of students from across the globe graduating from the school each year.
The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey is the only UK higher education sector-wide survey to gain insight from taught postgraduate students about their learning and teaching experience. This year the school achieved great results in several areas of the survey.
Business and Management was ranked 3rd (out of 85) for the Overall measure and 4th (out of 84) for the Teaching measure. Student support also shone through with the school coming 4th (out of 71) for the support measure.
Professor Owain ap Gwilym, Deputy Head of Bangor Business School said,
“Achieving 3rd place overall in the Business & Management postgraduate taught experience survey (out of 85 institutions) is an outstanding result for the Business School. It reflects a tremendous effort by our staff to provide an excellent learning experience for our students and we are very proud of this achievement. Alongside this, the 4th place ranking for the support provided to students by the School and the university is testament to the high priority that Bangor places on this. We are also ranked 4th for the teaching category, which reveals that the quality of the programmes and curriculum is highly appreciated by students. We will strive to sustain this excellence such that future students will continue to enjoy one of the best experiences in the UK for business and management. The School has invested in its staff and facilities to further underpin this objective.â€
