How has your career developed since graduating from ¶º±ÆÖ±²¥, and what is your current job role?

I began my career as a Data Scientist at Retail-FCL, as financial services provider company in the UK, where I led a team and worked on projects such as cash demand forecasting, pricing models, anomaly detection, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and was promoted to Senior data scientist.

Then I joined Cignpost diagnostics finance department as a Senior Data Scientist. My responsibilities expanded to include creating forecast models, customer segmentation, and predictive models for product introduction and site closures. I collaborated with multiple departments to ensure informed decision-making and efficient resource allocation.

I am now excited to join Optima Partners Consultancy as a Senior Data Scientist/Consultant, where I will be working with clients across diverse sectors such as banking, medicine, insurance, and energy.

This self-driven approach to learning has been invaluable in my professional growth.

Pursuing a PhD also helped me refine my writing, speaking, and presentation skills, which have been instrumental in effectively communicating complex ideas and results to diverse audiences. The strong foundation in statistical techniques that I acquired during my studies, combined with courses in R programming, equipped me with the essential skills for a successful career in data science.

These skills have not only helped me excel in my job but also allowed me to adapt and thrive in an ever-evolving field.
