Overview
Binru joined Bangor Business School in Sep 2022 as a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Banking and Finance. He specialises in Empirical Banking, Financial Intermediation and Corporate Credit Market. His research output has attracted policy-makers' attention and has been featured in some major media outlets including the Columbia Law School (CLS) Blue Sky Blog, the Daily Telegraph, the Duke Financial Economics Center Blog, the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI) Blog, and the Oxford Business Law Blog. His previous research has been published in leading international academic journals including The European Financial Management, European Journal of Finance. Also, he heldÌý²¹Ìývisiting position at Bank of Finland, Helsinki. His research project has been funded by the British Academy/The Leverhulme Trust.
Additionally, he has been an ad-hoc reviewer for several internationally well-established journals, such as European Financial Management, European Journal of Finance, British Accounting Review, International Journal of Finance and Accounting, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, International Review of Financial Analysis, etc.
Binru is currently serving as the Interim Director of Postgraduate Research at Bangor Business School.
