Rhagolwg
Mae Leah Hadden-Purnell yn ddarlithydd Seicoleg ym Mhrifysgol Bangor, lle cwblhaodd hefyd ei gradd israddedig a’i gradd meistr, gan ennyn ei brwdfrydedd dros ddatblygiad llythrennedd cynnar. Fel siaradwr Cymreig, datblygodd ddiddordeb arbennig yn natblygiad llythrennedd dwyieithog cynnar. Arweiniodd y brwdfrydedd hwn at ddilyn PhD a oedd yn canolbwyntio ar gymhlethdodau dwyieithrwydd Cymraeg-Saesneg, gyda phwyslais penodol ar anhwylderau llythrennedd yn y cyd-destun hwn. Mae ei hymchwil yn archwilio sgiliau llythrennedd cynnar mewn amgylcheddau dwyieithog, gan gyfrannu at ddealltwriaeth ddyfnach o'r heriau a'r cyfleoedd sy’n wynebu dysgwyr dwyieithog.
Yn ogystal â'i hymdrechion academaidd, mae'n gwasanaethu fel Cyswllt Ysgolion ar gyfer yr Adran Seicoleg.Â
